I need help with gifs (2 Viewers)

I found out that my go to gif place, gfycat, shut down in september.

I've been trying giphy which gave good quality gifs but wasn't accurate at the time. Now they are more accurate but very lq.
Been trying several options now, but they all come out lq.

Does someone have an alternative that make hq gifs or at least decent?

I'm trying to make them
I usually pick my gifs from tumblr first and if i didn't find them, i'd make them myself

I use ezgif.com or the app(bk when my phone cpu could handle it) or gif studio app. Then save it to Tumblr.com. I dont hv a pc rn, or hardly used one to make gifs(or only for my pfp which were tiny).

Btw, I made this gif a bit smaller, but you can still see how grainy it is

Ezgif.com gives great control(or did when I used to use it more) for instance removing frames, changing dpi n otherccontrols-i hvnt used it since I made my current pfp, which is Idk how long ago.

Yeah, I used to use ezgif to remove additional frames when i made it in gfycat, but making it from scratch makes the quality for this vid very low.

As far as I rmbr there's an option to import n start from 00:09 seconds or sthg n finish at 00:15 seconds(or is tat only for the mobile app?) Before my phone cpu got overloaded, I rmbr choosing settings eg.youtube or other mp4 formatted n converting to gif format thru ezgif? Does tat not apply for yr project?

It does, just comes out very lq when i convert it on ezgif.

I might not be able to help soon but I might use my (north very much) experience to troubleshoot if I can. I had awful time using gfycat/Gipsy, mostly on mobile the linked final image was 90° rotated wide-screen. The top n bottom had gfycat or giphy when I linked to img here on KS. I just used Tumblr n gave up on gfycat/giphy.

For non-gifs I use IBB n iv lost my online image editor link which was on my last phone.

Been trying to make a gif out of this vid:

Starts around 5:35 and is about 2 seconds.

starting 335.1(00:05:35:100) for 1.51 secs.720 dpi resolution. Then converted on ezgif.com (deleted frames with 2 ppl) but file ended up too large.compressed it too much(edit 50% maybe 5% end edit) n it looks like this.

U can play with the start time, duration, dpi.

N compression shd be played with maybe, it's been too long n im out of touch how much to compress vs final file size. This is just how I might do it if I'm making a gif for myself.

On laptop, it also looked kinda lq, but I noticed that a gif that i downloaded earlier from giphy was better quality, so did the same thing now and then optimized it in ezgif. It's the best I can get.
It's still grainy, but I also think that the vid itself or the colors has something to do with it.

I think it's not so much the colors or the vid but rather the algorithmic calculations into the dpi/duration/size limitations tat is the issue. If KS could handleca 5MB gif in sig the gif might be lovely but loading pages n posts would be too d*mn slow!!! I'm lazy/lucky I just use gifs on tumblr/import n resize/downsize/remove frames for my pfp, n I think KS auto-calculates the image from url sources/changes the gif image in its contents to a manageable file.

Idk the technical issues but I'm happy to try n resolve graphics involved when I hv time/interest.
