A quick dumb question to @Discipline though, is sociology and social studies the same thing? I have social studies up there already so I'm wondering if you would go under there or if sociology is a ccomplete different subject.

A quick dumb question to @Discipline though, is sociology and social studies the same thing? I have social studies up there already so I'm wondering if you would go under there or if sociology is a ccomplete different subject.

Well from what I read specifically (As I didn’t know what Social Studies were prior to this), Social Studies seem to be a bit of every social science so History, Sociology, Psychology, Law, Anthropology and etc. But I’ve specifically learned about Sociology itself (I’m assuming that I learned about it in greater depth but I’m not sure because I still don’t really know what is meant by Social Studies). So I think putting Sociology separate is probably better because I couldn’t teach anyone a thing about anthropology or psychology lmao

I was a bit confused since my country has sociology but not social studies so I was wondering if they're the same thing or not. I have them up as separate subjects now though. :)
