Sales Twice sells 1 million copies in the 1st week on Hanteo for the first time with "With YOU-th" (1 Viewer)

its really incredible they manage to keep achieving higher and higher numbers!! The increase from the last album is already phenomenal! The first day sales where already higher than their best first week sales so far!

Its a bit intersting how the numbers spiked in the last 2 days, after day 3 I did not see this coming at all anymore

I think this might be because Hanteo increased the range of stores that they cover.
I think when all is said and done, sales will be around 30% below Ready to Be unfortunately. Circle first week and US sales hint at this.
Hope I'm wrong, I love this EP and this new direction for Twice.

oh I did not hear of this, when did Hanteo do this change and how many more stores got included, if you can say anything on it?

I don't know. I did see an article about it and kept it in mind. First week Circle chart is not much higher than Hanteo (although the tracking period is different - only three days on Circle). Usually there'd be a huge gap between the two for Twice.
If the gap was going to be the same, Twice would easily break 2m this comeback, but that's unlikely because usually JYPE announce record breaking preorders, and they didn't announce anything this time.

For what it's worth, sales are down for everyone... Except G Idle for some reason. I think the Covid boom might be wearing off, especially as economies are tipping into recession in some places.

ok I have no idea, but I knew numbers are down for everyone, so I was extra excited to see Twice grow so much despite everything

Anyways, if it turns out that they sell less 30% less than ready to be, it will probably be their second highest sales numbers every, its still super good!!
