Is running scalding water over your hands good to prevent frostbite (1 Viewer)

Everyone seems to think it’s cold today except me and I’m the one that gets cold easily
I would say that if the water is dangerously hot it sounds like it might be a bad idea if you can’t feel the heat because you could inure yourself in that direction too. But I’m guessing you aren’t meaning that level of hot in this case.

Oh it was or should’ve been, I turned the tap on hot all the way, and left my hands under for minutes it should be enough to give minor burns

but I never felt it get to the hot level and guarantee feeling back like I was waiting for before the hot water ran out

Oh no it was cold when I went but I couldn’t stay home because I couldn’t eat and wanted to get smth which would help me maybe food I can eat for a few days (went to get a colander)
