I just finished the Shurik trilogy (Operation Y, Prisoner of the Caucasus, and Ivan Vassilyevich) and I'm kinda in the mood for some more old comedy with bespectacled cutie patootie (being blond and male and with glasses and a movie is optional), preferably with eng subs on youtube or tubi (or netflix), or something else from Gaidai or USSR

I don't mind if it's not in english or spanish as long as there's subs :)

also i shall bless your eyes with shurik/blorbo from my shows :)

It's not a comedy how about bee keeper?

What if it’s not intended to be a comedy but so old it’s comedic anyways

It’s been a very very long time since I saw it but the USSR part made me think of an old Soviet movie called Guest to the Future. That being said i don’t know for sure about where it could be found with English substitutes, I haven’t looked into that yet. It’s a children’s movie but the age really shows plus the concept is a bit out there so that makes it comedic to me

Okay I mistyped, Guest from the Future not to the Future. And it’s on YouTube with English subs

I just looked at the new one and Its not actually similar to the old one at all, other than names and that song I think they’re completely different. I may watch that one though when it’s released
