every time I hear on here of a new gg, I always assume that it's Pledis', but then I Google them only to find out they're not. idk about y'all, but I'm getting kinda impatient!

Just my educated guess but I think Hybe is disappointed with Pledis's efforts so far. Fromis_9, in the grand scheme of things, has never performed to the level that other groups created by shows have. I think TWS doing well might make it happen. But also remember Big Hit acquired Hybe and Pledis is a sub of Hybe so they are probably figuring out how to run the business and where to put the money.

As far as I know, Pledis/Hybe never officially mentioned to debut any girl group

pledis has never been strong physically actually i think pristin almost outsold after school in Korea.

btw they are still maintaining after school is alive..

What they are good at is teaching, dancing, finding ppl ect, but as you said actually running groups especially girls they struggle.

Heck to my knowledge seventeen does much of the lifting for themselves.

HYBE is already under fire for too many gg's at once: Le Sserafim, New Jeans and ILLIT are all under their subsidiaries and quite new on the scene.
I think they might wait a bit
