lmaooo i used to have the same mindset but I'm 26 now and still stan new groups (but only musicwise. I only keep up with NCT when it comes to content because I lack the time)

Yes! Same here! Saw many people saying they were NCTzens but the artist threads are kinda dead and just used for updates, so I really wanted a place to talk with people from the same fandom and get to know them.

Ooohh yeah i get that, especially since NCT rarely has a full group content.
Honestly, I don't mind people calling themselves Dreamzens etc. they're part of the fandom too

I think the difference with WayV is because they had the THAAD issues still when they debuted so they had to be kind of separate from NCT.
Even today, they are in center 2, when NCT127 and dream is in Center 4. Wish is in center 5

yeah I was there when they debuted I got in (Kpop) when I was 15 in 2018

so that they could promote without nct label in china, but also do the full group nct stuff

it's just with nctzen ppl expect me to like most of the other groups music and I don't wanna be like "i'm a fan" and then say I actually don't like any wayv titles for example, it's like ppl pretending to be a fan to hate on the group

like I can say I think wayv is funny and great dancers and I like their come back remake better than 127's original, and xiaojun is an all-rounder, yangyang is my bias, etc. but I can't say I'm a fan because I'm definitely not

for the full nct albums, I listen ofc, but I never liked the unit songs besides dream's after 2018 (and ofc some U songs) but on Empathy I liked all songs, on Resonance less than half, I think the 2021 and 2023 albums I did like most songs, (but not all U songs, and not the wayv and 127 unit songs on 2021)

I look forward to new full nct albums with nct wish and rotation with wish members tho

mark is my ult so I'm glad he's back in dream since like I wouldn't follow superm or nct 127 for him

I was like a mark haechan solo stan watching the m/vs which wasn't good

honestly I get it!
I don't really check out other unit's solo variety materials either, usually due to lack of time, and I do mainly stan 127 and Dojaejung (and U).

tbh i don't care if people are solo stans of a member, as long as they don't bash the other members/units. But that's usually a minority.

Honestly, I haven't even had time to check out Wish's album properly and never even saw the mv (just listened to the song tho)

Ah, yeah that makes sense, especially in this economy. I've been downsizing on collecting kpop albums recently due to increased prices everywhere else. Doyoung will understand, in fact I'm sure he'd be supporting you What's so great about Youtube, Spotify, Apple Music etc is our ability to support our faves in the way that suits everyone. (Not to go more off topic, but buying a house is such a cool step tbh? At least I think so. Are you an adult too?)

me personally i think that a new version of the neobong could just be the same design with a recolor or with either a slight addition or a completely new design. keeping the exact same thing and just swapping the NCT out for logos isn't very complex. a good example of a lightstick with 2 versions could be the candybong, same concept different execution
