Duha, Yuehua CEO is receiving tons of Blacklash by kpop fans for publicly share her desire for Slavery contract
2 May 2019 during a conference The ceo of Yuehua said that she would want that all the entertainement agency collabore together so artist can no longer break their contract.
Which means she would want that when an artist decide to leave his agency before the expiration of his contract, she would like that the other agency are unite and don't accept this Artist under their agency, will lead into them be expel from the entertainement industry.

Which means that Artist will have to stay with their agency Until the end and will no longer be able to parts away because they would be too afraid to the consequences of their acts

I would be happy if contracts longer than 3 yrs and trainee debts were made illegal. :kijoongstare:

Maybe it wuld make companies to treat their idols like human beings and actually debut only groups they intend to maintain. Because nowadays the market looks more as if certain people used groups as their lotery tickets.

There is reason why artist want out of companies, it's rarely cause they think they get better deal somewhere else- it's usually cause they weren't being payed, were mentally or physically abused, were treated badly- didn't get enough rest, medical attention, food etc. It's already pretty difficult for idol to leave company even in cases where they need to.

No company do this
Some Companies like SM sure blacklist their idol from Music show
But they can still appear on Variety show and Sign with other agency without any problem

Usually when idols leave their agencies, especially with public bad blood, they almost never sign with a well known music agency.
They almost always go to nugu agencies or agencies they created themselves despite being worth a shitton of money and have to start over

Because every Big agencies work the same way, so if an artist leave a big agency because he couldn't handle the pression, or was not well paid etc....
Of course big agencies will not sign them
plus LSM, YG and JYP have close relation so i guess if one artist ask to be free from her contract and sign with another it'll be see as a betray by the others

That's exactly what the CEO is talking about
That's blackballing.
Big 3 agencies exclude their ex-artists from not only going to each other's agencies but smaller but still reputable companies refuse to take them out of dear of retaliation.

Not getting into another big 3 is one thing but most of the ones that leave have to completely unknown agencies

No if most of them prefer to go in smaller agency or create their own agency
it's mostly because they have been control by big agency since their debut and prefer to go somewhere where they'll have more freedom
where they'll not be stuck to only promote as singer or actress
or that None of the big agency gave them a chance, because it's well know in the industry that egency prefer to let their own artist grow than accept artist of other agencies
while smaller agency will have more chance to do it since they don't have the money of big agency to give to their trainee a big training comparable to big agencies so it's more benefic to them to accept big agency trainee

without mentionning the fact that When artist from big agency leave they also want an agency who will focus on them which is not the case of Big agency who already have many artist and trainee and will not be able to give them as much attention that they would want

That's really debatable
Any mid-tier agency like FNC, Starship, Cube would be dying to take an a-list idol because of the greatly increased revenue that they bring, even at the expense of artist freedom, something that most soloists are allotted anyway. Unless of course having them there posed a risk to their other assets
It's very weird that every single idol that walks away from a big 3 picks a low-tier, virtually non-existent company that can't accurately represent them and promote them out of a blind leap of faith.

Can investigations start being done on these agencies? If they feel like they can freely say this crap who knows what they do behind the scenes

Most of them go to specialists acting agencies. For example Sooyoung and Seohyun. Tiffany went to the US so she is different.
Jessica was hosed that is a solid case but, going to your boyfriends company might work.
The bulk of SM's expats went to China mostly because that is where the money is.
Henry wants more control (seemed like he had alot at sm... whatever)
Think of it as the big fish syndrome they want to go to a small agency so they get sucked up too more :) kinda like athletes that leave great teams to be a star amongst peons.

Pursuing an acting career is different. No name agencies are perfect if you want to do music on the side, not so much if you want a full-time music career. less opportunities to promote, less staffing to handle your needs and a bigger chance of failure and having to dip into your own expenses. Jay Park, 2ne1, WG, post-wg Hyuna, Hyorin etc. All high-tier. All went to no-name agencies/started their own and started over. Only Sunmi, Jay Park found major success. Hyuna and Hyorin have modest success.
Jessica is probably the peak reason no one wants to touch top Stars. Even jyp was scared to take her in. Coridel realistically can't promote her, even without SM interference. Look at Playback. Her career has been on the decline ever since Fly, as much as she says she does it for the fans, she was so happy when Fly outperformed.

This isn't even the first time an agency has said this. CCM said the same thing when Kara sued DSP. And they were a lot more reputable and powerful back then.

I really think some are dumb and choose to go small out of ego they want to prove its them not the agency. Its not the first time young folks get bad career advice from those close to them, or ego takes over.

jay park was lucky to get a job after jyp kicked him as was Somi btw the counter example.
Hyuna went to cube from jyp.
Edit ( Summi kinda wanted to quit after getting burned out in the us i thought she went small just because she was testing her will ?)

Remember the agencies know the truth about idols too, while its against the law in the US to really say how you feel they can answer if they are rehire-able. Entertainment with its closed loop a bad internal rep is death. I would bet Korean agencies are far less willing to put up with massive crap that say US ones just for money. Kids a diva or a general pain in the ass to manage.... good luck.
