I'd like to explore more of the Asian cuisines.
I grew up eating only western cuisine and med cuisine, as my parents aren't that adventurous when it comes to food.

The reason why I didn't really check out Asian cuisine is because I don't eat fish and majority of the Asian restaurants serve sushi or Chinese.
I'm happy to say that I've been trying to make a dish at least once a week that's Asian (inspired).​

Various African, South American, and from Oceania. In general people here are less familiar with those cuisines. I also come across them by chance less, though I know some still. But to find them I’d have to actively search more, which I may do at some point.

Honestly for Oceania I only know one food, lamingtons. It’s a yellow sponge cake covered in chocolate syrup and coconut flakes. It’s from Australia. I’m not sure what they generally eat, though I’d imagine fish would be a notable part given that almost all Australians live by the coast and the rest are islands. I’ve heard that emu steaks exist but I feel like they may be rare. Otherwise I’m pretty unknowledgeable

YOU'VE NEVER HAD MEXICAN??? Oh, you're missing out - my favorite from Mexico is quesadillas. They're tortillas with cheese folded inside and topped with the likes of guacamole, sour cream, or pico de gallo (a spicy Mexican sauce). Med and Thai are also must-haves.

but to actually reply to your comment, I'd like to do the same for south Asian and Middle Eastern. I'bve opnly had Chinese, Indian, and Lebanese so far.

I have had Mexican before it's just a cuisine I would like to explore more you know the authentic flavours and spices
