I used to think in Lunar Calendar in America (1 Viewer)

Related to my last thread but should've been a separate one instead of a comment ...

I realized I used to think in the lunar calendar while using the gregorian when I was little

Because I would always consider people born in January and February "old" and not really the same year

But I didn't consider people born in like late the previous year (December, November, October) "old" but they were "solidly their year"?

Idk I had some weird "old" prejudice towards January and February birthdays in elementary school

And I realized it's because of growing up with the Lunar calendar

we're supposed to use the asian solar calendar in april but I didn't know that started in april till like high school, or I forgot, (and never had a problem with march or april before asian solar new year being the "same" year)

Either that or I'm just a weirdo

I stopped bc "people can't control what month they're born in" but why the heck did I have this prejudice in the first place??????
