I was so confused by Oneus having two Nows at first, I had to look it up and realized you were talking about the Fink.L remake

I was only thinking about the b-side, which is great

I like their Now, but I love Fink.L's and definitely prefer the original tbh

Fink.L's Now I already loved for a couple years, it's my fave 1st gen song, & would play it on repeat. So I had heard the original before the remake, & Oneus's doesn't have the vibe I loved from the original. The original feels like a spy or action movie soundtrack

Oneus's isn't as mysterious, haunting, etc.

I'm not describing it well but it doesn't have the vibe I loved about the first one (sound wise, the mv is still spy themed)

The instrumental is funkier & groovier though lower & with more bass.

Especially the change in the dance break instrumental (at the beginning of the song) - not at all the vibe

The bridge's instrumental doesn't match the vibe at all either, too groovy & not minimalistic to focus on the melody switching to vocals (being mostly percussion)

the build up/switch was also killed with the new dance break & it wasn't there after the dance break either

was really good but most of the way the members sang the lines didn't fit the mysterious action vibe I would've loved


this remake^ has a brighter instrumental than the original but still manages to be haunting at parts because of the vocals, even without the melancholic instrumental of the original 2nd gen song, so I still love it

And ofc the b-side I liked before
