EXID “Up & Down”

girls were literally days away from disbanding when this iconic bop was released

[NogaNono]

SNSD's was Gee for sure. That was the song which shot them into fame.

[mysteric]

... all the debuts

[Abeamus]

For Oh My Girl i'd go with The Fifth Season

[mysteric]

CLC Hobgoblin maybe?

Not for KARD it wasn't

Are those really debuts though? I personally don’t really count them as such. They’re already in the full group, releasing songs, so I count most of their “predebut” stuff as releases

Well they shouldn't count as predebut stuff for that reason but their official debut will be when Hola Hola came out since that's just how the stuff was released.

oh true. that song did change the game. they didn't get a win with it though...

I know;-;
Pepe was also really good but it really didn’t get popular

[mysteric]

BTS Dope maybe too?

all of their songs were good tbh. it's honestly some sort of crime that they didn't get a win until No era.

THIS
Black Dress should’ve been the latest they got a win tbh

Black Dress was an amazing and underrated comeback tbh. Hopefully they can get their third win this time.

Me sounds like a bop already so fingers crossed!

BTS's I Need You I think (If I'm understanding correctly!)

BigHit was supposedly so broke they had to sell a controlling interest in the co to someone else before the comeback; if it hadn't been the big hit it was Bang PD probably would have lost control. Also the song that got them their first music show win and real GP interest!

[Ringwanderung]

BTS Dope maybe too?

dope definitely got them more fans, international fans especially

it’s hard to pinpoint the comeback that really did it, BTS never had that “one hit” honestly

yep, I NEED U really changed it for them because it was their first real hit in SK and won them their first music show win :’)

[VillageIdiot]

The ones that come after the big hit

SNSD: Genie after Gee
Twice: TT after Cheer Up
Gfriend: Rough after MGT

Sometimes having a huge hit isn't enough, look at Momoland
