Seventeen for me
I like their music and the members, but there was always this tiny little thing that prevents me from stanning them

bts I liked and bst almost made me stan but their releases afterwards didn’t do it for me

Also BTS, I was looking into them quite a bit and joined a BTS discord server, but never got quite to stanning. And realistically half the groups I did stan then I don’t now, I just started stanning a lot fewer groups in general, for various reasons. Also Blackpink, I loved their stuff at first, but the long delays made it harder to maintain interest, and some of the newer songs i didn’t care for (though one was AIIYL, which I now love).

WJSN, OMG, and MMM i invested alot of time getting to know them and watching content.
But each did not click for different reasons.

4th gen inc
Aespa, IVE and Ssera

in most of these i really like the bulk of the members but the music does not work consistently.


some others
Twice i was leaning towards around cheer up but be a star killed that buzz. and group like that is a black hole of time needing to be invested.
AKB is just too much.

when they first debuted i was in my era of stanning every group i heard of. but i for some reason decided to put this era to an end because i finally realized i was stanning too many groups… and i wanted too many albums. so i decided i would never stan them 😭

I was really impressed with early Twice (Like Ooh-Ahh, Cheer Up, TT). Then the jjirit jjirit song (Signal) came and stopped the stan train in its tracks.

Nuest. This was back when I was still testing the K-pop waters, and I started out really liking their music, but another one of my stanning criteria is that I vibe well with the members, and I can’t to this day put my finger on why, but in just couldn’t vibe… so I never stanned rmthem

I think too many now...but a couple that come to mind was Twice and Block B. Loved their songs but just never got more than that.

Fifty Fifty - i was interested in them around Cupid era and was close to stanning and then the whole lawsuit happened. And then they released news of a new lineup. Chanelle is in the group and was looking forward to her debut. I felt icky about stanning them because of what happened in the past. I am on the fence now as there is a lot of misinformation going around about the case.

Oh My Girl, Limelight, Lunarsolar and Dreamcatcher

Some of my favorite GG’s but Lunarsolar disbanded, Limelight redebuted and I’m not too sure how I feel about their music now. For Dreamcatcher and OMG I just haven’t like their newer releases as much as their previous ones.
