yea this seems like at best a plie of he said she said. They looked at the tape there was no evidence that they were "bullying" .
industry ppl can believe anything they want it has zero impact on the truth.

Also wasn't this just after MHJ had accused the illit girls of copying NJ? maybe they just didnt want to add fuel to the fire. there are like a 100 reasons/explanation's why but only 1 with a someone stomping her feet and saying they were mean to me.. As i have been alive a bit(many little sisters/brothers cousins ect) you can guess which one i give the least credit to.

Not a horrid summary, but it misses What i feel is the crux of the matter.

MJH was hired to launch the trainees at source in a group for source.
Thru a bunch of fups she managed to stall and convince BHS to give her the keys to her own kingdom.
Stealing sources girls and getting hybe to pay for it.
That success led her to think she could steal all of Ador and NJ if she was just sneaky enough.

HYBE eventually realized they got played hard, but were going to live with it because money was coming in. (i am sure this is where some of teh chill at hybe comes from)

But she felt invincible and made enough mistakes that even the judge said she was trying to do what Hybe accused, but since she had not yet done it no law was broke... from that moment MHJ was done it was just time.

The girls have now sealed their fate also. Only a delusional child would rule that any of the stated mistreatment is worthy of a contract termination.
Which is pretty much limited to actual crimes and failure to pay ect. Depending on the exact terms of the contracts..

Previously on August 27, ADOR announced that Min Hee Jin would no longer be serving as CEO of the company but that she would continue to produce NewJeans’ content as an internal director at ADOR. This Ador independence thing has always cracked me up. NJ/ador in this form does not exist if hybe does not steal/ buy the girls from source and give them to Ador a company it owns 80 % of ( here's a clue if someone owns 80 % of your company your not independent.)

SEOUL, Sept 25 — K-pop agency HYBE is in the news again and this time it’s for allegedly trying to minimize the success of girl group NewJeans.

CBS Radio program Kim Hyun-jung’s News Show aired a phone interview earlier today with a journalist who claimed he was approached by HYBE’s head of public relations to “correct” a news article he did.

Jang Hyung-woo, who describes himself as an industrial journalist covering sectors including aviation and shipbuilding, had written about HYBE’s stock price while covering NewJeans’ Tokyo Dome performance on July 17.

“Following that, I received a request from HYBE to amend the article.”

He told by the HYBE rep that the statement in his article that NewJeans had sold 1.02 million copies in Japan was incorrect and that the numbers encompassed sales globally as well.

What surprised him was when HYBE’s PR person “then added that the sales weren’t as strong as thought and that the record wasn’t as impressive.”

It made no sense to him that instead of talking up and promoting their group, the HYBE rep was downplaying the group’s sales, especially as selling a million copies is still no small feat.

In a leaked recording of the call, the individual alleged to be from HYBE can be heard saying, “We need to correct the facts, don’t we? It didn’t sell that well in Japan. It didn’t perform as well as expected, so we need to set the record straight.”

The HYBE rep also alluded to scheduling a golf meeting with Jang’s editor, and stated that he would invite Jang along as well.

HYBE has put out a statement in response, clarifying that the golf meeting had been scheduled prior to the call and that the agency would be making a complaint on the leaking of the call recording.

As to NewJeans, HYBE said: “We have made every effort to promote ADOR, including NewJeans’ albums.”

Interestingly HYBE did not disown the statements made by their PR rep.

Today NewJeans is supposed to receive an official response to the group’s request to reinstate Min Hee-jin, former CEO of their agency ADOR, a subsidiary of HYBE.

‘Not acceptable’: ADOR rejects NewJeans’ request for Min Hee Jin’s reinstatement as CEO; reaffirms internal director position

ADOR has officially responded to NewJeans’ request for former CEO Min Hee Jin’s reinstatement. Read the agency’s full statement below.

Is Min Hee Jin returning as ADOR’s CEO? Seems like not anymore, given that ADOR has officially rejected the request for the same. On September 25, the agency issued a brief statement announcing that they have “resolved to convene an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders to reappoint Min Hee Jin as an internal director at today’s board meeting.”

“The ADOR board of directors discussed and decided that the request for her to return as CEO is currently not acceptable”, the agency rejected NewJeans’ ultimatum in their statement.

They have also stated that following her dismissal, ADOR had already proposed Min Hee Jin the internal director position on September 11. She has been asked to take charge of NewJeans’ production for the next five years, the period which covers the remaining duration of the group’s contract with the agency.

“Given that the basic guarantees regarding her position, duration, and authority as the producer in charge of NewJeans have been established, we expect further discussion and negotiations on specific conditions to take place in the future”, ADOR reiterated in their statement.

They have also confirmed that details and decisions taken in the shareholders' meeting have been forwarded to NewJeans members through email.

This row started when on August 27, HYBE, the parent company announced that Min Hee Jin would no longer serve as the CEO of ADOR. Internal director Kim Joo Young would replace her, taking over the position. At the same time, they also announced that Min Hee Jin would continue to serve as an inside director for NewJeans.

Following that, all five members of the girl group opened a burner YouTube channel and held an unexpected live broadcast, giving an ultimatum to HYBE to reappoint her as the CEO by September 25. 2 days later, on September 13, Min Hee Jin herself filed for an injunction seeking reinstatement as the HYBE subsidiary’s CEO.

On September 24, NewJeans members along with their parents held an emergency meeting with current ADOR CEO Kim Joo Young. They have reiterated their demands for half an hour. However, the outcome seems to be not aligned with their requests following ADOR’s statement today.

Min Hee Jin has requested for a new contract from HYBE while pushing for her reinstatement as CEO of ADOR in response to the agency’s earlier statement. Read on!

Min Hee Jin, the producer and director behind NewJeans and the former CEO of ADOR has responded to the previous statement by the agency. Min Hee Jin has strongly pushed for her reinstatement as the ADOR CEO while also asking for a better contract from HYBE and said they are “deeply angered” at the media play.

On September 25, 2024, the South Korean media outlet Newsen reported the official statement given by Min Hee Jin through her representatives Marcol Consulting Group in response to the previous statement given by ADOR.

Min Hee Jin’s statement began by once again recalling that the ADOR board of directors had arranged for an extraordinary general meeting to discuss the reappointment of Min Hee Jin as an internal director.

ADOR had reiterated that they asked the former CEO to take the position of NewJeans’ internal director for the course of five years which is also the duration of the girl group’s remaining contract.

Min Hee Jin’s representatives also told in the statement that since HYBE is responsible for the appointment of internal directors, they can’t be certain when will she be reappointed. They added that regardless of the talks of extending the contract period “there was no sincere proposal to remove numerous toxic clauses” like unilateral termination rights being reserved by the agency. They called this new proposal “nothing but wordplay.”

The statement further stated that Min Hee Jin is well aware of the fact that extending her term under a “flawed contract” will not guarantee normal activities for NewJeans. Hence, Min Hee Jin has strongly demanded her reinstatement as ADOR CEO and has requested a concrete contract from HYBE.

It was also reiterated that she feels “deeply angered” at the repeated media play by ADOR to manipulate public opinion and is worried about the harm it brings to the artists. They added this was done without any negotiations.

Min Hee Jin’s statement also talked about a radio news interview where it was revealed that HYBE was downplaying their artists’ achievements. They called it “suspicious” and an attempt to put a wedge between Min Hee Jin and NewJeans.

Furthermore, the statement by Min Hee Jin said that the CEO is a necessary demand to protect themselves against “irrational” actions by HYBE. They ended it by hoping the ADOR board of directors with show integrity by engaging in negotiations rather than media play.

The reporter claimed, “They made an illogical suggestion to distort and downplay the artist’s achievements.”

In response, HYBE explained, “The reporter wrote that over 1.02 million albums were sold ‘in Japan alone.’ However, at the time, only around 50,000 were sold in Japan, and over 900,000 were sold in Korea. We requested a correction because it was incorrect information.”

HYBE further emphasized, “There’s absolutely no reason for us to speak negatively about NewJeans’ achievements.”

Regarding the reporter’s claim that terms like “gaslighting” were used, HYBE clarified, “In the entertainment industry, when creators and artists form strong bonds, there can be attempts to seize control of management regardless of shareholding ratios. There's no such thing as being an independent subsidiary to a publicly traded company as investors want to know where their money is going so any money being spent on any of Hybes subsidiaries is also something for them to care about and that makes it reason for Hybe to care about what they are doing.
