There isn’t always one running, they’re a special thing. Usually they commemorate something or are themed to be at a similar type of time.

It depends on how much work/ideas badge team has I think.

I once asked them if they took suggestions/ideas/graphics or images/gifs from users but it was very long ago n i flopped in not following up on tat(i think they told me to follow up if i wanted to help/give ideas/suggestions/images or gifs, but no guarantees if i rmbr correctly).

The last pop up badge event was either last yr or before tat even(if I'm not mistaken there was a free to request from ALL pop up badges after tat but users still had to pay for each badge then).

Ig nobody reads this thread above much(not even me previously, but I like to think I deserve credit for asking if badge team would accept suggestions/ideas/volunteer work from users before [idk if this thread appeared after I asked tho, maybe/probably]

I was way off in my memory as to last pop up badge event-it was probably christmas(2022?) But in their defense I think irl/badge revamps probably take up most of their free time rn(or since Xmas 2022). Volunteers/users who want pop up badges might chip in/ask if their help is accepted or maybe hv a index of gifs/insta/twt images/gifs to be used as source images for pop up badges.(I tried to keep one for possible milestone cards but it was too many tabs for my phone/I dint want to save links on notes app in my phone n drafts vanished over time in ks).

Or ask actual badge teams in badge subforums.

Still waiting for Valentines pop up badge event(too late for a chuseok/Halloween badge pop up this yr but maybe next yr(?)
