Depending on the motives, both can be as bad as each other.
There is no point in singling out a gender, especially when the bullies I had were male and I had a horrific time.

It's not just about experience you know. There are so many different experiences from all kinds of different people and mine and your experiences are just 2 experiences.
There are many male bullies who are just as bad as female bullies. No matter how you look at it, bullying is wrong by all people no matter what sex you.
Do you even know how many gay men and transgender people get killed and beaten up from male bullies?
Plus, I'm not saying I know more than you, but I am saying that your experience alone is not just one world view.
So get your head out of your backside and start doing research.

It's like saying you hate your own Mother, Sister(s), Grandma, Aunties, female friends and all female members who are close to you because of the girls who gave you that bad experience.
Let me just tell you one thing, Men and Women are not much different from each other. Both bully, both are good, both are bad, both are living on this planet together.
Both male and female bully just as bad.
I was bullied by guys and it would be so easy to have the same view as you, but I know that my experience is not the same as other people's, so I don't hold it against a whole gender because I was hurt by a few of them.
