The thing is for me that they are partly right but partly some things they have done to themselves.

Source leaking their pre-debut videos is a bad look as it robs the girls of the decision to do it themselves but they were working under Source when those videos got recorded so they do belong to Source as annoying as that is.

The ignore them comment I don't see as much of a big deal as it's a manager of a group that NewJeans/MHJ is causing to get hated that they really shouldn't be engaging with as they aren't NewJeans staff or a higher up that could impact their careers even if of course it's not nice to hear.

They're also choosing to die on this Min Heejin hill when she was put back in a position that would give her control over them and relieve her of the business side which should be a better fit for her if she's all about the art but she walked away from that position.

Then some things are suspicious like the replace new thing and I don't totally buy the explanation Ador gave for it as it's pretty weird if true since why call it that? They are still getting booked for events so I'd just keep an eye out for signs of being iced out.

They have legitimate reasons to feel negative about these things but that doesn't make the reactions justified automatically and this whole situation is just a total complete mess on both sides if you take everyone at good faith which chances are isn't the case.

I agree with everything here I just think no matter what happens now NJs will hopefully keep their best interests in mind. I'm assuming Min Heejin won't pick them up again which to me is promising aespect.

Okay, now that I'm up to speed on things, the situation does seem really childish

To argue mistreatment when somebody didn't say hello, or got told to ignore you, in order to terminate your contract (that has been working out great for them btw) isn't a good basis to end a contract like that.

It sounds like they have a very severe attachment to MHJ. Not that that's bad, but people come and go. You can't expect 7 years to be all the same, you have a good fanbase, I say count your blessings and continue. Styles evolve, look at ITZY and Red Velvet you cannot expect to stay relevent for a whole 7 years by doing the same thing (maybe that's why Blackpink takes such long hiatus's)

To throw away all your hard work because you need to stay with a CEO seems excessive.

This will end in massive penalties that they might have to repay for the rest of their lives (there is no guarantee that if they rebrand they'll be as successful as they were.)

MHJ knows that, that she let's this happen to them because "she loves them and the love her" is FISHY

NewJeans said at the conference they did recently that they still want to work with Min Heejin and believes she feels the same although did drop that they haven't been in contact. This could just be direct contact in that Min Heejin is talking to their parents and not them if they are telling the truth but if they aren't in contact then seems like she's trying to get out of dodge and avoid Hybe being able to drag her into another court case.
