western releases have squat to do in K-Shows, I'm sorry. This is pathetic, at best!

Korean music shows to my knowledge have set criteria and if a song western or otherwise meets those criteria and eligibility why shouldn't it have a chance of winning?

no one claims the US billboard 100 or 200 is only for US music

if a song is popular enough to chart in US, China, Australia etc etc it will chart in those country's charts - why is SK any different

I'm not knocking on Rosé here, I'm just saying, if she put out a western track, she targeted a western audience. K-shows should know better than to use it as a promotional tool for their gigs. with all due respect that makes no sense
so that does mean that every country should only allow music of their own country's language to chart or eligible for awards?

only Chinese language music shows should win in China
only English songs in US, UK, Australia
French language songs for France
etc etc

music as we can see from this forum is global - we have so many people from so many different countries sharing no just kpop (yes this is a kpop forum and we are focusing on kpop) but music generally

to me if a song regardless of language captures a country's interests that song should be eligible (again depending on that music show's criteria) to win whatever awards is up for grabs
