Do you like mystery boxes? (1 Viewer)

I only like them if I know I can't get a duplicate and I know I'll be reasonably happy with getting any of the options. I see people who buy mystery boxes for things they already have tons of, and all I can think is, why not just buy the exact one you're looking for? But maybe the thrill is in not knowing vs getting something new.

That's why I only get them if I know all of the available options, I'd be okay with getting Otherwise, it's just paying money for (potentially) garbage.

but for physical ones occasionally I will buy my son something like a kinder surprise (not sure if you guys have them) or other mystery eggs than contain a random toy or something

Those can be fun! I think the chocolate would help gloss over any mediocre toys.

well they do cost like a dollar or so thus the mediocrity of the toy is arguable lol
