i am doing alright. It’s been 2 days since I returned to the states after leaving for a last minute trip to the Dominican Republic with my two older cousins, my aunt, and my older cousin’s girlfriend to my grandmother’s wake and the final mass (which was held this past Sunday).

I’m ok, just recovering from my last week 40+ hr straight trip home to Canada + a cold that wouldn’t go away
I’m slowly getting back to working on looking at reviewing stuff for when I apply to some jobs

I hope you can get some time out in the sun! It's been really nice here this week, and it's crazy just how much it lifts the spirits. I find myself more excited to do things and see people than I have in a long time.

And I'm doing good! I'm hosting a board game night this weekend, which I'm very excited about. I've always wanted to have a space that was welcoming to others, and I'm finally there.

A wake is something that happens before or after the funeral (we made it to funeral which was a few hours after we arrived at the Airbnb, which was 5 AM).

Me and my cousin almost missed our flight because we decided to relax at the bar and have a beer. But the United App didn’t update on the flight despite being at the airport on time. Two gate workers found us and guided us to our gate and we made it on the plane before it left.
