What do you think about food trucks? (1 Viewer)

There's an annual food festival here that is mostly food trucks and it's delicious and fun!

But I still feel like a random food truck in a rundown parking lot is sketch.

I like food trucks though me and my family get like one mini meal and then it's like 40 or 50 dollars. AND the long line? Um hello?
I don't really like them. Sometimes the food isn't great. Like I got fries and I didn't like them. The meal was very small and I was still hungry after (I had to share w family)

We don't see food trucks here that often unless there is a fair or something going on. But we do have a Mexican food truck that's downtown in my city and it's pretty good. Haven't had it in a while though

Where i live it tends to be random Mexican food in sketchy parking lots.

if i want that ill go to one the Filiberto's or a clone.
for other types of food ill feel safer in an real restaurant, even then i tend to go buffet so i can choose.

We unfortunately don't have them a lot here apart from foodtruck festivals and fairs , but I love them!
Most of them have cuisines that you don't really have in the area so it's great to discover new things!

I agree, I feel like they're often pretty expensive relative to the quantity/quality, so they're more of a fun thing to do, like with the food fair my city has. I don't mind it so much when there's no restaurant selling, say, Australian hand-pies, but I can get Mexican or Chinese food at lots of good local places for 3x the quantity at the same price.

I like the food I have gotten from food trucks, but they are quite expensive so I try to avoid them (unless it is fries, food trucks fries are on their own level)

Fair! I try to avoid eating at chains as much as possible.
