Cities where the name in your language is similar, but altered for your language. Not cities that sound completely different or are translated.

I really don’t like the French pronunciation of Orleans. I get that it’s the og language, but it just sounds too groany for me

Also Saint Petersburg sounds way better in English than Russian. The Russian one just sounds so awkward. In English it actually flows fine.

It sounds like someone was saying Ah and in the middle someone else shoved something into their throat and now they’re nasally sputtering to try to get whatever it is out

Definitely not, I have a hard time picturing things and remembering things visually I even severely struggle to remember stuff like how my best friend from kindergarten to the end of high school looks. I know traits that she had theoretically, but It’s really hard for me to picture it. So I guess my brain may be more so storing information in words and descriptors, but not transferring that into visual.
