The Knife of Never Letting Go is a wild trilogy, it's still stuck with me even though it's been years since I've read it.

I was so stunned by it. I had been told it was a pretty heavy series and granted it is, but holy cow is it a good and impactful one!

Depends on what you consider worth it. I personally enjoyed it, but it's not one of my favorites. It gets repetitive after a while unfortunately.

I genuinely think you have to find a book that pulls you back in, for me I had fallen out of love with reading for a really long time. But then I went to visit one of my cousins and family that lives in another state and she just started rambling to me about one of her favorite authors. She hyped this author up and as soon as I went back home I went and purchased one of the books she recommended and BOOM instantly back into reading.

So find a book that genuinely intrigues you. Also, if sitting down and reading is what is kind of stopping you, you can always look into audiobooks or books with mixed media in them. They can be listened to while you are doing things around the house, and mixed media is usually so dynamic that it keeps your attention a bit longer.

Sometimes what I do when I'm having a hard time is I'll read the first chapter of a few books and if one captures my attention that is what I continue to read. OR if there is a specific book or series I love I will sometimes just dive back into them-it's one of the reasons I've re-read the Winner's Trilogy 4 times. I can sit down and finish EACH book in one sitting because I adore it that much.

I also watch a bunch of youtube videos and tiktoks where people will recommend books or quote a book or discuss a book and if those videos intrigue me I usually will go check out those books as well.

I know I'm rambling but something else I do-is set a goal during the day. It can either be a time thing, like I will read for 30 minutes today OR I'll read just 1 page-1singular page (Usually you end up reading more especially if it's a book you're enjoying).

I ask siri to pick a number between 1 and 100 and read the number of pages she picks and usually will end up going over it. I also will just drop a book the second I lose interest. I mean reading is supposed to be fun so I'm not wasting my time.

and I want to start the Weddings by Bella series by Janice Thompson, but I never got around to it. I read a bit of the third boook befoire realizing it was a whole series, and omg I loved what I read!

Ok the romance in it is intense. I would definitely say it's more romance than fantasy but it's a really good mix. I have some co-workers who read romance more than fantasy and the 3rd book in the series was a bit confusing for them (which I consider that one to be more fantasy heavy compared to the romance but the first two are a decent mix).
