Card System UI, Search Fixed, New Notifications & More!​

Hey everyone!

It's been a very busy couple of weeks behind the scenes, and I wanted to give you all a big update on everything that's been worked on to improve KpopSource. A lot of these changes are live right now, so let's dive into what's new!

✅ What's Been Completed ✅

The Card System

• Massive UI Overhaul: The Card System has received a complete visual and functional overhaul! The new interface is cleaner, more modern, and should be much easier and more intuitive to navigate. Go check it out!
• Notification System Added: You will now receive notifications for important events within the card system. No more missing out on key updates!

Main Forum (KpopSource.com)

• Forum Theme Refresh: I've given the main forum theme a much-needed facelift with new ai generated icons and more modern css styling. Please note, this is a temporary solution to make our home look nicer while we work towards being able to upgrade to the latest forum software in the future!
• Search is Back Online! The site's search functionality has been fixed and is back up and running. You can once again search for threads and posts accurately across the forum.

Frames System

• Notification System Completed: Just like the Card System, notifications are now fully implemented for Frames. You'll be alerted about your frame-related activities.

KPS Chat

• Backend Complete & Fully Usable: The new chat system is functionally live! The backend is solid and you can use it right now.
• Final Design in Progress (Feedback Appreciated!): While the chat is usable, I'm still figuring out the final design to make it perfect. I would love to hear your feedback on the current look and any ideas you have for its final version. Please post your thoughts below!

Note that while it is possible to connect the features to the main site like notifications, I prefer not to do so now, as it will cause me a headache when upgrading.

The work doesn't stop here! I still have a packed to-do list that I'm hoping to complete by the end of the year. Here's a sneak peek at the next big projects:

• Trade System for the Card System
• User Profiles for the Card System
• A brand new Database Site
• A dedicated Requests Center

oh hi again. I can barely read what's to the left of the names. could you maybe use a different font? I mean, this one's way cool, dgmw, but unfortunately, I can't read it vert well

Anyway, thanks for all your efforts! I do wish the thread list was a teeny bit squished more, because the extra spacing requires more scrolling, but that may be a me thing. It's been really nice seeing the cards, in particular, become way more navigable over the past few weeks.

Yes! I feel like it just needs to be condensed a smidge more so there's less scrolling through the new items before you get to the forums. It's a little thing, so no big deal if I just need to get over it!

Checking the admin logs, did you change name since i introduced the system but it shouldnt be an issue, i still have my frames.

Found 2 under your old name which is correct in the logs, rest were imports(meaning its the start of the frame system), i'll try find more.
