So I'm not really a double texter. But if I don't want to give someone a wall of text, I do separate my texts.
However, I don't want them to respond too quickly, before I give my whole thought.

So I'd type out my entire response, cut the latter out, and send the first part. Then paste the next part, and send or cut out the latter to send in a third text.

Do you have any interesting messaging habits?

one of our former users pointed out that I put lol at the end of every post... but they said it annoyed them and probs you guys as well, so I stopped doing that so much unless my post is actually funny. same reason I stopped using netspeak in general - I've gotten made fun of in the past for using it excessively, and one time, one of the bullies even went as far as to make me leak Pete Wentz's nudes before I could post again in their Fall Out Boy fan thread. (all I did in the first post was fangirl about their then-unreleased third album)

but I digress.

tl;dr I used to use netspeak all the time, but not so much anymore, and it's all bc of cyberbullies.

Depending what the conversation is about, I tend to also reply with a wall of text. I often worry after sending if it's too much or long, because I know often people dislike reading a lot. Me personally I like reading longer messages, because it's more fuel for the conversation.

excessive use of XDDDD as punctuation - only a few weeks ago i found out this doesn't happen often outside of poland :jisoosmh:
I also used the XD before, but that was mainly in chats of games. This was also when I was rather a youngun. :llama_flirt:

I still use "lol" often, I sometimes use it to not sound too serious all the time. I always think ot myself I sound too serious if I just reply without it, but I guess it sometimes can make me sound rather sarcastic...

I always try to put emoticons from my phone on at the end,
since they are so weird and unique

That really sounds like something I would do, but I don’t. I do get the not wanting people to reply too fast thing though, I just try to get around it be being speedy for the next messages :haylul:
