Well, he makes them all drop out of high school to focus on training so what do you expect?

What is happening is so deep rooted though, it’s almost like a different culture within YG that’s coming to light bit by bit. The whole company needs to be told how to take care of themselves, not just the idols.

This is my opinion: Some people do LSD because they think they'll write better music and/or fiction while on it or create better art while on it.
But seriously: If you have to take a drug to create good music/literature/art...aren't you cheating?

TBH that was the saddest part of the texts for me. I know B.I is an adult and he has to take responsibility for his own actions but I do genuinely think that all of Yang Hyun Suk's harsh criticism over the years has affected a lot of his idols' self esteem. Like, why does B.I even think that he needs to take drugs to make him into a genius? He's already an incredibly talented musician all on his own!

This whole situation reminds me of something Chanhyuk from AKMU said on a variety show one time. They were talking about how he doesn't drink and he said that one time at a diner, Yang Hyun Suk and one of the other YG producer were encouraging him to drink and telling him that it would inspire him to write different types on music. I know that it's a big jump from alcohol to LSD but the mentality seems to be the same plus from the texts, it kinda sounds like the dealer knows YHS...

In YG’s statement earlier, the first paragraph says ‘Hanbin’s problem.’ YG said similar things about Park Bom and Taehyun when he left Winner. We say that companies don’t look after their artists, but YG is on a whole other level. He could not give less of a shit about them. It’s sad but infuriating because the idols are HIS responsibility.

Taking the human element out of it, if his stocks are falling due to his idols actions, then it’s up to him to make sure those actions don’t happen in order to keep the prices up.

Well, I don't think he MAKES people do it because there are members of Treasure 13 that are still in school but I definitely think it's encouraged because I've heard iKON members talk about it before.

I wonder if they have minimum age laws for dropping out? I know my state doesn't allow it until at least 16.

I don't even know who to trust anymore. Can we trust any idols? Probably, just not YG male idols, I suppose. Not because they're males, obviously, but since YG seems to dictate the female's lives much more strictly than the males.

In Korea, high school is not compulsory. The majority of people attend/finish high school but it is not required by law.

On the T13 OH thread I made a big stink about it when I thought Doyoung wasn't going to high school. He is. He's a freshman at Apgujeong High School. Out of the T13 members, I think Hyunsuk and Yoshinori did not finish high school. Not sure about Junkyu and Jihoon. Mashiho just finished high school earlier this year. People assume Yoonbin finished high school in Australia before going back to Korea and getting into YG.
