Is it seperate from the regular Youtube app? Because I only have the YT app installed. Maybe it doesn't work because of me using the browser version of YT all the time so they couldn't collect any data... I only ever check out shorts on the app on my phone all else I watch is through the browser

yes you need the youtube music app, but it uses the same data, so it will probably still show your recap

Wait, I just see in the regular youtube I also have a recap, that is more focused on youtube in general but also has the music part! Did you check?

Yes, I was just googling about the recap. I also noticed there is a seperate app for just music which I didn't know lol...
I had noticed it like a week ago or so that Lily her dad shared his YT recap, so I was curious how mines would look like, but I don't have it yet. I read on reddit just now as more people asked about it, that it seems YT will roll out the recap in batches for different countries at different dates. I saw one comment of even the US that didn't have it and UK, most places in EU also don't have it yet. I just hope I won't miss mines :/
