thats a good way to see it i was just looking on the group chat and a lot of people had replied ew to the screenshots i put of my channel and im just like why do they say that beacuse the voices are ai and the pictures of the charcter are ai but they don’t look at the cheography that’ll be coded by the person behind it and the song writing and the backstorys for the group members and then also the person that’ll appear as the members when communicating to the fans and viewers

And the ai voices will be temporary until i can get actualmembers to produce for the first person i most likely can get is ryryjeong beacuse we already have a collab YouTube channel and he sings good just dosn’t want to show it off so he might like the idea of being and unknown singer

Yeesh, the whole actual work IS being done by you, not ai, its only the visual part thats ai, whats their issue?

There are other websites that allow you to do it just like vtubers you just have to program it

I have a few people i can contact who probably would like to do it i know ryryjeong is a definite im friends with mad Tsai and Hannah bhang so they might especially mad Tsai beacuse it might help promote his songs and Zia Mitchell might be up for it

Yeah the first one i talked to was ryryjeong hes known for kpdh cosplay you should check him out and i contacted him to make a channel made of just edits of him And we just became friends that way, i meet mad Tsai in public and we started talking and became friends and i said i wanted to meet Hannah bahng beacuse hes friends with her and ofc i wanted to she is bangchans cool sister after all and She is really nice person, and Zia Mitchell i contacted him to see if he wanted to sing one of my songs beacuse he dose covers of songs and we talk sometimes.

No idea why the last names are spelled that way i think its a Korean clan thats not well know
for a few seconds its cool then its not beacuse they hype of meeting them wears down

I disregard a lot of things marketed as ai because I view it as that — a marketing buzzword that tells me nothing about the functionality of the tech
that said, not a fan — voice banks exist for a similar purpose and you know that everyone has consented to their likeness being used for training, the same for the imagine generating models
I do believe that there are good use cases for ai, but I am wary of them in creative fields and try to avoid supporting many companies because I’d rather not put money into their pockets

I don't have as much of a problem with AI as a lot of people but when it comes to art there will always be a place for people and especially when it comes to idols I think the human connection is key. I've never really been into idolizing (pun semi-intended) the idea of somebody and instead I got into K-Pop (and idols) because I saw the human side of it. I always want idols to be themselves and let down their "idol mask" so the idea of an AI group that is always perfect takes away the point of it.

There is another aspect to it; we already know K-Pop agencies want as much control as possible over their idols to the point where blatant abuse is involved and to them an AI group would be the holy grail so supporting one feels like enabling and rewarding that.

An AI group would not have needs or need to be trained and wouldn't make mistakes, I suspect that if normalized they wouldn't only set a bad precedent for real groups but it would make them obsolete altogether.

AI groups are an interesting novelty and I'm not morally opposed to them directly, but I do think they would ultimately be harmful to the people and the art so it's a hard pass for me.

I think idols should stay human and i dont support ai. i find it creepy that young people would be obsessed sith something thats not real. They are in my eyes just puppets whos full existence is to please fans and be overly perfect. Sure human idols do that also but at least they are real.
if you like ai idols that is your choice and i have nothing to say to that. i dont like it and find it dangerous so i wont support it

Nah I can't in good faith support ai. It's just art theft and ultra lazy when there are actual artists out here producing quality work that need commissions to survive. And I am not being a hypocrite as I am a person who pays $40-100 for art commissions done by actual humans

some people like AI and others don't

I personally prefer humans but others might like AI idols or AI generated music - all the more merrier for them...

and remember AI as it currently is, is the worst it will ever be (meaning it will only become more powerful and prevalent moving forward)

I personally dislike ai/virtual groups but its just a preference! u have good connections which makes me wonder if I'm a bum who doesn't get out enough
But in my opinion virtual/ai groups leave me on edge, because ven though I know its a real person singing and doing the dances I don't want ai to become a normalcy in kpop groups, bc I sure as heck would not be buying albums at that point.
I guess virtual groups are ok because maybe they don't feel comfy showing their faces or they aren't confident enough, but other than that its the persons choice at the end of the day
