Nah I can't in good faith support ai. It's just art theft and ultra lazy when there are actual artists out here producing quality work that need commissions to survive. And I am not being a hypocrite as I am a person who pays $40-100 for art commissions done by actual humans

Not my thing. I want real people behind art and AI to do boring stuff like optimizing data or something.

But regardless, I think AI anything should be required to be labeled. Not just AI groups, but photos, videos, writing, etc. If you (for some reason) want to buy a puzzle with a design made by AI, then you do you, but you should be informed that's what it is.

Art not made by a person is totally pointless. A machine can imitate art even if the final product is the most perfect thing ever made it would still not be art. The machine can't feel emotions, it does not suffer, it does not die, it does not feel hope, joy etc. The machine makes something, but it isn't art.

In a world where AI meets the goals of the people that create and fund it, 99% of humanity could die and those in power would find it convenient and be perfectly okay with that.

We only have value as working class people to the people in power because we are a resource they use, so that they can make more money. We provide them with our labor either physical or mental and they pay us a tiny portion of the value we create them, the difference between what they pay us and what they keep for themselves is their profit.

Machines don't need bathroom breaks, they don't get tired or injured, they don't want rights, they don't have to eat, or have dreams, they don't protest, they don't talk back.

The technology isn't the problem it's the ownership and goals of the people in power and the system that the technology works in. The same was true during the industrial revolution and the choices that the owners of factories made back then.

Machines and the productivity increase they create could be used for the benefit of society, but instead because of the current system technology is used to replace people. For example, you have 10 weavers who make clothing, under capitalism when you automate this with eclectic looms you fire nine people and have one person working on the electric loom doing the job that ten people were previously doing.

In my pervious example I explained the capitalist logic and use for technology which is to replace workers when productivity increases. In a fairer system, you could keep all ten workers using electrical looms and you could decrease the hours worked by the workers and keep their pay the same, they would have the same output they did before as their productivity massively increased due to the machines.

Machines a great benefit to society, the problem is not the machines.

You as an individual do not have the power to do something, but collectively we do have power. Organize, unionize etc together we have more power than those at the top and a better world for everyone can be created.

I've some of that those things with my very eyes that people get kicked of their homes or lose their jobs and they aren't even the ones at the very bottom bottom

I think the one of the biggest differences between mindsets of the rich and poor is EMPATHY - the ability to feel and care for others and especially those who aren't like us whether it be social economic status or wealth or power or religion or colour of one's skin etc etc
I think there was an actual study done about this or something that showed certain types of people had less empathy than other people lol
