I was discouraged from photo editing
because I was too critical on how people would perceive it
nowadays I just do it for fun most of all

i dont have hobbies because from one reason or other i was basically forced to quit (mental/physical problems and bullying)
i also have no friends in finland, only online, so dont have anyone to do stuff with so i rather keep myself in my apartment and online

I know it's not the same as collecting physical cards but there is the "Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket" which is pretty much for people who like the cards but have been priced out of the market due to scalpers so you could play that and maybe if you see a card you like buy individual cards over buying unopened packs which could be cheaper.

not me personally but I know of friends who like were discouraged from certain sports because even though they were a beginner there were people who failed to initiate them to the sport and were like "you weren't good enough" to play with us type of thing

Most hobbies are designed to keep you spending so when you're someone like me who struggles with sticking to a single one you have to really pick your priorities.

I recently wanted to collect some Warhammer miniatures only to realize that the paint cost more than the figures and according to reports it dries out pretty quickly while people who bought paint decades ago report theirs still being usable, go figure, while things have always cost money there has been a very noticeable rise in corporate over time.
