Those girls are actually from SNH48, which is basically the chinese branch of AKB48 that went rogue and declared themselves unaffiliated from the original! The group overall has like 88 members and that was just 1 unit from there! SNH48 is also a lot more similar to kpop with their vibes and feel than to kpop.

If you want to watch it the show is uploaded onto youtube, but it doesn't have subs yet.

I've heard their music before! Don't know any of the members but I guess I should learn lol. I've done a bit of research on them before but not much.

I'll probably wait for subs!

SNH48 are pretty damn badass... Their MVs are like whole short movies and REALLY high quality and they have some amazing songs and some really talented girls. Apparently these days they are even sendingsome of their girls out to be trained in Korea! (Well they said overseas... But that's just code for Korea in china...)

I feel like cpop is actually that... More kpop than jpop and a lot of the bigger cpop idols have been trained in korea!

[maruberry]

Also promoting SNH48 like this I am wondering how I don't stan them yet....

oh I know I fell in love with some of their mvs!
It's something they share in common with AKB48. They have theatrical mvs where it's like a mini movie. These are my favorite ones from them

lmao I do that with groups too so I feel ya
