Update for people who know what is going on (1 Viewer)

...hey

So, as some people know, I did get transferred to the new company under HYBE, and I will no longer be at JYPE

I may not be on as often because my mental health has gotten really bad

They didnt tell me until after i signed the transfer form that I no longer have the chance to debut. I read through the whole contract and they didn't mention it once.

I am now stuck as a backup dancer...they said maybe in the future, but as for now, I'm "just backup... nothing else."

Please help me through this hard time... I may be extra emotional, and I apologize...

I would also be disappointed.
But think in the bright side, I don’t know about you but I would love to just be a backup dancer, as a person who loves dancing I would be happy. You might get the chance to dance as a backup dancer for BTS or some other group. You might was focusing on vocals or rapping more than dancing so I understand that this is a disappointment for you and I would also be. A backup dancer is not as big as being an idol and it’s very mean and misleading of them to not say this before you changed

It's okay, you're completely fine. I was gone from here for more than two years, partly because of my bad mental health, and I was welcomed back with open arms and no judgement at all. We all get it. Do whatever will be the best for you. It could be staying active on here, visiting on here less often, or even taking a hiatus or leaving here for a bit. No matter what you decide to do, we will all support you and be there for you. Not a single user here would ever hold anything like this against you in any capacity, no matter what.

That's so horrible! How could they do that? You've mentioned being a trainee for a long time, so you have got to be insanely talented. Why they would waste that is beyond me. Hopefully they reconsider in the future. I know it's not what you wanted and not the same at all, but since it can't be changed at this point (or at least not for a while), I'll try to help you see the bright side. Multiple idols were once backup dancers, such as Lee Know and even one of my enugu faves from DreamNote.

Also, I don't want to get too pessimistic, but even if you never debut as a K-Pop idol (I hope you do by the way, you have a great personality and are very talented), you can still make a big impact on the industry. SM was CRAZY in my opinion for never debuting Ejae, but look how famous she is now! Heck, after Golden and the rest of the K-Pop Demon Hunters soundtrack catapulted her career, she started releasing her own music and even got invited to the Met Gala. No matter what company executives decide, and as disappointing or exciting the decision they make is, I'm sure you'll leave your mark on the industry for the better.

It's completely okay, you don't have to apologize for being emotional. It's part of being human, and it's completely understandable and more than justified given the circumstances. I wish I was there in person so I could give you a big hug. I'm so sorry no one you know in person cares. That reveals way more about how cold they are than how sensitive you are, I promise. I know South Korea doesn't have the best mental health reputation, but they are going too far. I wish there was something more I could do to help. No matter what, we're here for you, however we can help.
