Honestly. Yanking this kid into Secret's nostalgia reunion sucks for literally everyone. And if what RBW is actually doing is redebuting the group and plans to have them be as active as in their heyday, then the way they've gone about adding a new member has been all wrong. Like no one was super happy about KARA getting a new member at first, but Youngji clearly worked hard to fit in and Kamilia generally consider her part of the group. This will pretty much always be Secret + this rando.

And for people who know Yebin and are unfamiliar with Secret (given Yebin was 7 when Secret debuted...) it has to feel like "Why is my fave in this old person's group all of the sudden?"

I get Secret is a nostalgic group, and I loved their original lineup, but Yebin is so talented and I think she can fit the group’s original concept well. Totally, the upside is so hard to see.
And if its even worse they just want to debut Yebin in a new group and Secret is a short term deal .... the back lash will be unpretty.

Honestly. They did much of Youngji's introduction (aside from the contest show which was ...) old school dropping her in the the house variety show with Sunny showing she had 2nd gen variety chops. Hara was always very upfront about accepting her remembering her early days in the group.

Correct. Jieun and Sunhwa aren't returning. Hyoseong is a competent singer on her own (her solo debut song) and Hana is their rapper, so it looks like they added Yebin to add another singer. Particularly for girl groups, second gen wasn't as heavy on the rap segments as later gens have been.
