I'm going on a lil diet for the next 2 months so pray for me 😭😭

Anyone got any ideas for healthy lunches??
I'm not overweight but I need to lose like 5 lbs so I can wear this dress I really like

I dont know what kind of food you get where you live so I cant really help but I live in india, we have a lot of yummy veg curries, perhaps you could look for some simple ones? being on a diet is easier if its still tasty

Tbh if you're trying to lose 5 lbs its healthier just to watch your sleep schedule/eat less snacks rather than go on a full on diet

What is your normal diet like? Since you said being tasty would make it easier it might be better to look at things to adjust rather than go all out. If your diet is dogwater you might not have to adjust as much as if it's already pretty healthy in order to hit your target.

In general you want to stay away from sugar, white bread and other carb bombs and substitute half your rice/pasta for greens. Eat lean meats (chicken, fish and some beef) fruits and greens. Don't eat within a few hours of going to bed. Switch to whole grain (Brown rice/pasta/bread = good, white = bad). Heavy exercise doesn't actually help that much with weight loss but being active does, meaning going for a walk and hanging out with friends is more helpful than killing yourself on a treadmill.

Drink a lot of water and don't starve yourself. Losing weight safely takes time so it's better to make changes you can maintain instead of suffering and burning yourself out.
