Honestly, I would appreciate this more if most of the members in both groups weren't children. I've always been on the fence about companies debuting minors. I mean, 17 is one thing, but 13? I don't think that's necessary, nor do I think it should be acceptable. At that point, it starts to feel less like developing young talent and more like child exploitation for profit.
The industry can be incredibly brutal, and teenagers are already going through a delicate stage of life. They're still developing physically and emotionally, trying to figure out who they are while navigating puberty, self-esteem, and the pressures of fitting in. Now imagine going through all of that while having your appearance, weight, talent, and every little mistake scrutinized by millions of people online. The internet can be cruel, and I genuinely don't think a 13-year-old should have to shoulder that kind of pressure just to entertain people and make a company money.
