Which Member From These Groups Are Essential For Their Music? (1 Viewer)

1. SNSD (OT9): None, SNSD seems to be build in way where the members can replace others when needed and this has been proven after member leaves and unit work. Taeyeon is most central to their music, but I don't think even she's irreplaceable what comes to music- if she left instead of Jessica, her place could have been taken over just as well. What comes to SNSD, this isn't that bad thing though.
- Still if we are thinking about tones, TIffany is most stand-out from vocalists, then maybe Jessica.

2. GFriend: I don't know any of the members. Apparently there is one or two great singers, so maybe them?

3. TWICE: Jihyo since they don't have anyone replacing her vocals, but Twice's sound isn't tied to anyone in particular, even to her.

4. BlackPink: Jennie and Rose definitely, Blackpink's sound is modified and recognizable somewhat due to their tones and styles of singing and rapping. Lisa and Jisoo as well, but not as much what comes to sound in my opinion- Jisoo although having bit deeper tone than regular kpop girl doesn't stand out as much as Rose and same to Lisa's rap and Jennie (though since kpop has less girl rappers than vocalist, she's more irresplacable sound-wise than Jisoo).

5. Red Velvet: Wendy? Seulgi? They have some stand-out vocalists, but I'm not as sure what comes to tones and being essential to music. But I guess those two.

6. MAMAMOO: Hwasa definitely haven't heard anyone of her tone. But I'd say all of them, they have such strong roles in their performances and music. Wheein least to me what comes to tone and style.

7. EXO: Eh not sure I don't really pay attention to groups whose sound I don't care about.. Maybe Chen, isn't he best singer?

8. BTS: Well in their case they have multiple members that produce and write songs so they are important in that way as well. I'd say lot of them are quite important for the sound since they have quite many vocalist and rappers with different tones. But Jungkook lately takes care of lot of singing and has quite distinct style- though Jimins is more distinct even if he seems to sing less. I'd say both are most essential singers they have. Then raps, well every rapper they have is so different musically, can't say between them.

9. Seventeen: Umm don't they have song-writing team, rap team, vocal team? But I guess just fans know who belong to what xd
