Are you an akgae if you discover a soloist and you choose to stan them before you've discovered the group that they are a member of and you don't really get into the group?

As an example. I discovered Hyuna as a soloist and I stanned her before I knew who 4Minute were. And whilst I casually followed 4Minute's releases. I was always more into Hyuna's solo comebacks and buying her albums.
Is that something that you would class as being an akgae? Or would you still only call someone a akgae who discovers a group first but chooses to only support 1 specific member?

I consider it to be the latter. You can like a soloist's song, but not the groups. And as they're separate, I understand tanning the soloist first. But stanning the group, but not the member is a totally situation-

You my friend don't know the difference between a solo stan and an Akgae it seems like!

Solo stan = Likes only 1 members, doesn't care for the others. Doesn't bash the others, just doesn't care for them! = This be OK!
Akgae = Only likes 1 members, dislikes/hates the others! = This be not OK!

For the solo aspect of it yeah but akgaes literally meaning is malicious individual fan so unless you're saying Hyuna is queen and the rest of 4Minute are hot trash then you wouldn't fulfill the malicious part and would fall under solo stan instead.

Personally, I always saw myself as a Hyuna Akgae cause I absolutely love her, but I could never get into 4minute music with the exception of Crazy and so I never stanned the group itself. :')

I think when it comes to that, it's only being an akgae if you only stan 1 member and not the entire group.
