Word of advice. Kcon LA you pay to bloody shop. Unless you can actually afford the concert it's not worht going. There isn't even a close nit community that exists in like gaming conventions, or anime conventions. You will try to talk to people but they are stuck in their own friend nitches. As for panels, lordy there was nothing fun. Again sure if you have friends to laugh with, and you know are planning on going ot the concert.

Again this is from my experience and some would disagree with me. But personally if you wanted to find friendlier kpop fans and shop KTown is a better cheaper stop.

On the other hand not all was lost I did get to see VIXX in real life trying to get cellphone reception and getting shoved into a crowd.

It's only $700 but it's 2 layovers that equals 33 hours. A direct flight is close to $1500

Dude for that go to a concert in korea or japan.
Red room only cost a k to fly in and red mare 1200 ( izone was 1800 but i paid for a 17 hour flight instead of 33.) btw 30 min in :)
actually i am to the point that i would rather fly to japan or korea to see teh acts its only marginally more expensive.
red mare in Dallas 500 flight 300 ticket 300 room another 3-4 to fly to miami 250 for ticket and 250 for room and bad food.
im well over 2k and i saw all red mare in korea for that. And the Korean audiences is much more fun.

i am just not super impressed with kcon unless you pay the 2 k to meet your act.

yea its tempting maybe the not concert stuff would balance it ... the shows were short. sure iz one did 30 min + but it was not much more than 100 min total. Iz one will be there too i think. ill toy with it too since i could drive.
