This is bullshit.
It shouldn't have gotten to this point at all
If JYP wants to mediaplay about being a company that cares, they need to put their money (the money that Twice is slaving away to get) where their mouth is and actually fucking do it.
Twice is the most overworked girl group out there rn.
JYP did nothing when Jeongyeon had broken down in tears because she was so tired.
JYP did nothing Mina injured her knee, and was still working and worsen then injury. LITERALLY LIMPING FROM PLACE TO PLACE.
JYP probably isn't gonna do much for Dahyun either, who had to sit out J promotions because she's sick.

It took Mina being worked to the point where she mentally can't handle being on stage before she got benched. And the others still have to go through with the tour despite their injuries and exhaustion.
This is the same company that sold out a 16 year-old girl and made her lie about her identity just to keep China happy.

You know what JYP has planned for Twice next quarter?
Another fucking tour.

The girls really need rest, I understand Twice is a money making machine, but they've had an insane schedule for 4 years running now so maybe give them a longer break, focus on Itzy and the other groups in the meantime.

Some of them could care less about their health and they care more about getting new songs, promotions, etc. They need to realize that Twice are human beings and they need rest at some point or another. Yeah the amount of content they have in less than 4 years is insane- it's always Korean or Japanese promotions or concerts/tours. I realize they're JYP's cash cow but he doesn't really have to over depend on them. Give them their well deserved break.

Exactly. Their Korean and Japanese promotions always seem to be back to back.
I know that Twice is JYP's biggest money maker, but they also have Got7 and now Itzy. (And 15&, despite being in the dungeon. )
Therefore, JYP can still make good money if their were more resting periods for Twice.

I'm not instantly jumping of JYP for this though. I'm not going to presume to know what Mina's going through. She may have her own personal reasons/issues as well. We don't know. I just wish she can rest and recover well.

And I'm glad JYP is bringing mental health at the forefront for this, and not making up another reason. Remember Korea doesn't exactly have a great track record when it comes to taking mental health seriously.

That being said, I do hope Twice's activities get reduced a bit, so the girls can get some rest and a break.

Yes, Got7 and ITZY could be next moneymakers - but because ITZY still hasn't released many songs/albums, JYP may not be able to sell huge stadius as with Twice. I think he will continue (sadly) with Twice's tour for now and next year. In the mean time, ITZY (especially) may have had about 2-3 comebacks. Seeing how well they did with debut, I think their comebacks will be bigger, and only then JYP will be able to sell big stadius for them.

I'm bit mixed, maybe cause we don't know much what is going on so idk if Mina herself has been wanting to go on or not. Mental health things are quite tricky too. At least she's now resting and it's good that JYP is letting her.

In other hand Twice definitely is overworked, I really wonder how much sleep they get at nights cause usually when idols are promoting they get like 3 hours on average night. And if they are promoting non-stop, well that's not healthy. What comes to some Onces saying they want to promote that much and nth is wrong, well that's what B.A.P's babys were saying as well and then B.A.P sued company for overworking them and ignoring their health issues (as well as not really paying them). Although it's negative topic, as fan i think it's good to express being worried and caring about idols health. BTS is another group I'm bit worried about.

It's just because SM and YG have dirt in public with SM blacklisting and suing people and YG being a flop at promoting but overlook JYP is literally running Twice into the ground and it may get to the point where when contracts are up then some of the members don't resign because they're just burnt out.

THIS. I remember clearly how Onces got all defensive because we said Twice needed to take a break... and look where we are now. JYP is exploiting the hell out of this girls with no consideration at all, even SME (which is very well known for this practice too) is giving Red Velvet some rest between comebacks.

I feel bad for the members of Twice but they're at the top right now and can't afford to rest. They're also the one keeping the lights on since Suzy and members of 2pm have left JYP. I feel like JYP isnt going to stop anytime soon until another one of his groups take off (probably ITZY)

I mean if jyp was really caring about his artist he would have take care of mina before it become too bad that she had to get a break because of her anxiety
Because many idols talk about having anxiety of stage but never to the point they couldn't handle it anymore and have to take a break
