Few years ago, one student came to my former class. She was really shy, so we didn't talk much sadly. Once, I heard one of her friends saying sth like "Not again... you and your Korean boys" and I was like So we started to talk and became really close. Unfortunately, that friend of hers influenced on her a lot and she stopped listening to kpop. She was mainly VIP and EXO-L, but she liked VIXX and some other bgs...
I tried to make some of my friends kpop fans and 4 of them were really into it, but that phase finished soon. Three of them were ARMYs and one of them a Sone. But, oh well, you can't push someone against their will
Some of my friends in current class have heard of BTS, but most of them still thinks I listen to "Chinese boys"

And yes, please make them listen to kpop as much as you can. My male friends don't like kpop, only a few exceptions like BTS Mic drop, Airplane part. 2 and BLACKPINK 4D, but they will never admit

Oh everyone and their mom knows I'm way into kpop. They question me a little and tease like good friends do, but nothing malicious.

Actually, not anymore. One of my friends used to be into kpop and actually got me into it, but has moved on to different genres since then. She was quite multifan, we liked some same groups like Big Bang and B.A.P, but some different one's too like I think she was more of BG stan.

Then I knew this chinese girl who liked Big Bang, but I haven't chatted with her a while- she left the country.

I met 2 hardcore army in college and with my bestie becoming an army as well, the other friends in our group eventually started to listen as well

Yeah, one of my friends suddenly started playing Boy With Luv and she said that it was a good song. But she previously liked some of Blackpink's songs too so she is 'kind of' into kpop. My other friend says she hates kpop but she jams out to DNA so I don't really know what's going on there...

A large majority of my school like BTS so everyone knows them whether they like them or not. I don't think many people know anyone other than BTS or Blackpink though.

Nope. I would actively try to search for other kpop fans and become friends but I feel like it'd be like when I tried to make friends who were also into anime.....so I decided to just let a kpop friendship happen randomly and not end up scarred

I've got a few.

My lifelong best friend stans Monsta X because I invited her to go to their concert with me so she got into the music/members for that and is still an active fan now and its been a year since the concert!

I have another friend who I got into kpop, and she liked NCT Dream, but doesn't really follow them anymore :')))

I also know of a few people who like kpop at my school, but I would only consider us acquaintances. Though one of these fans I know of literally ults Seventeen and Victon like me,,, sO like thats really rare so I'm hoping we will have classes together next year so we can talk more.

I am proud of converting not just one, not just two, not just three, but four people to the dark side all with my own two hands. You know what i'm even more proud of? Some of my apprentices are out in the world converting more people to our ways, even the hardest of folks who used to refer to kpop as 'gay', spread our colourful gay kpop influence my young butterflies! There are also many many people i've met who found kpop on their own like I did too but that's only really been a thing i've experienced since 2016, when I got into kpop in 2012 up to the end of 2015, the only people who liked kpop that I knew irl was me and the first bff I converted and the only person I converted for a while.
