I really like it! I love these girls and I can't wait to hear more from them.
I love it the more I hear it
I was just about to say the same thing. You can see that the production cost for both MVs is very different... I'm not complaining because I do love Z-Girls but I wish the Z-Boys had an equal amount of time spent on them too.I feel so sorry for the boys but Z-Girls are definitely getting more money poured into them, from MV to Song quality its just much better than for Z-Boys.
They just need a better person to write their lyric, thats the only minor complaint I have for Z-Girls
Theyre not intended to be kpop, they want to establish their own type which they call Zpop. Its just posted in the kpop category because its released in Korea, so we dont differentiate them into another category. There are also no Korean members.@0:56 sounds.. not great but some of the other ones do have good voices for a kpop group
i do not like the song very much, and for me personally i think a kpop group must be singing in korean, and mayeb if they are doing other langauge songs, do it a bit later once they've established the k-pop part.
???
no korean members, not singing in korean trying to make it very clear that 'they don't want to be kpop' yet they are trying to promote in korea,?? where they are never gonna get popular instead of internationally with all of their international members?
not only is that stupid, but honestly a little angering me, even exp tried harder than that
if you don't want to do with korea stop being in korea
and you can't say you don't want to be kpop and then follow the kpop model to a T (besides the english part) without even doing a good job at that

Following a model doesnt make them the genre automatically. Sure it follows the Korean system but jpop is also influenced by the same system, yet no one would ever say that theyre kpop because they obviously arent.I didn't say nobody could use it
but when kpop copies western sound or western ideas, its acknowledged as still a western sound or idea, what makes it kpop is that there is a different language and though the idea or sound was borrowed it's modified to fit the kpop format and target audience.
same here, anyone can use it, but its the kpop format. that doesn't change. if someone from another cuntry uses it, great good for them, but that doesn't change where it came from, korea. It wouldn't be kpop because they are in a differen't country. and along with being in a different country, they might change certain parts to fit their countries audience, but it would still be kpop-inspired
and if they (z-girls) were doing more to distinguish themselves so that it wasn't kpop despite using the korean model... then it wouldn't matter, and I would understand your point.
But promoting in Korea with the Korean pop format and sound while trying to learn Korean (which is, of course, necessary if that is where they are gonna be promoting, I'm not knocking them for that) you can't tell me that's not a kpop group I'm sorry. I simply don't believe it, kpop groups have international members, kpop groups have released English songs, didn't make them stop being kpop group
you can't join the music genre of a certain country and act like you aren't in that country and aren't performing in that genre, its kpop but in english, not 'z-pop' just because they say something doesn't make it true
and if they are a kpop group...which they are, then they should be singing in Korean. Even though exp's korean was..bad they still sang in it.and yes in my last paragraph i said that they can sing in english and kpop artists release english songs as well. If they sing in english i don't care, but since they are a kpop group appealing to korea, it is a terrible marketing strategy to alienate their promoting country by not singing in their language at least a few times.
i'm not against foreigners in kpop, if they do it right. i really liked the UHSN temp group. so this isn't about z-whatever being foreigners. It's about this terrible promotional startegy of theirs.
yes I definetly understand kpop isn't the only genre in korea, i point that out very often since a lot of people seem to forget it, but i didn't say anything that tries to deny there are other genres in korea, and definetly there are english songs popular in korea. I'm not dumb
Nothing i have pointed out about this z-crew contradicts that
but they are under the pop category, other genres are irrelevant even if we take out the tlk of whether its kpop orz-pop. I'll concede for a moment and say, "yeah sure they are z-pop" still pop, still being promoted in korea, so yes there are other genre's but a pop concept against a pop concept is still pop regardless. and this happens to be korean pop, sung in english so idk what else to say
no stop ):Uniq was a kpop cpop group, but they promoted in china did thigs in china, they had korean songs but they had a c label and a k label so yeah they could be kpop but they were definetly c pop even thought they had korean songs.
UNIQ had so much potential and their company really did them dirty, I can't-
