I think SM does have a little bit of sway over the courts

The only person to ever win a lawsuit against SM had to literally be worked to the point of hospitalization.

The foreign members have very long, uphill battle should they take legal action and it's more than likely going to do them more harm than good

K-fandoms have no issue turning on members they think have betrayed the group, especially foreigners
