By weird I just mean something that isn't the norm. Like tbh in Serbia the norm would be any name that ends with -ic, but i dislike 90% of those names and thankfully my name ain't got none of them -ic's

I'd do names like
Lex
Luna
Lucian
(Yes I love names that start with L, biased af)

I probably won't have kids, but at some point I was thinking that if I ever had daughter I would name her Noomi (finnish ver of Naomi, also biblical name) and if I got boy I'd call him Joonatan (finnish ver of Jonathan), based on character from Astrid Lingrens childbook The Brothers Lionheart.

I'm a traditionalist when it came to naming my daughters. They've all got traditional names that have a beautiful meaning behind them.
Traditional British?
In a sense if I lived somewhere else from where I do now I might name em differently but having beautiful meanings is nice

Namjoon is cute name, "nam" actually means "yum" in finnish, suits RM :jenniesmug:

My eldest two have traditional British first names and my youngest two have traditional Japanese first names (Whilst our family name is Japanese)

My eldest daughter's middle name is double barrelled though, and unlike her sisters' who all only have 1 middle name.

This is gonna sound weird but I saw the name Silvestar on a gravestone and I've never heard of a more beautiful name in my life.
Exactly what this thread is about, tho not sure I'd take a name from a gravestone :susPepe:
Is it supposed to be like a Silvester but it's more like Silverstar lol, it's the middle and sounds so weird tbh i want it to be either one or the other not the middle, not that I really like either unfortunately:nayeonisdone:Still interesting

That's awesome actually, 2/2 is sorta ideal in that scenario, not sure I'd give any of my future children Serbian names but that's just me.

I don't even have a middle name unless we're talkin the Russian way if doing it (Just taking the first name od your father and changing it to be -vna or -vni at the end) in that case my middle name is Aleksandrovni

My middle name followed the Irish way of doing things (1st born son has the grandfather's first name as their middle name, and the 2nd born son has the father's first name as their middle name). My daughters' middle names though were names that we did consider using as their first name. However their names flow better with the order that we picked.
