So i really want to buy my first kpop album this days
And snsd are my ult group so it must be one of them
And sooyoung is my ult

So i wanted to buy the i got a boy sooyoung version
And i find just a really few copy of the member version
Taeyeon version cost 99 dollar
I find some sunny, jessica, yoona and yuri version pretry cheap in comparison of taeyeon version
But the only one of Sooyoung i could find cost 128 dollar
I expected to see taeyeon version much more expenssive than sooyoung one

I did some research and i saw that some people on forum said that the solo member version album of IGAB were rare

So is it true? And that's why they are so expenssive?

I have all 10 versions of the IGAB album and even when I got mine a few years ago when I did eventually find Sooyoung's version, it wasn't cheap.

It makes sense as people are more likely to just get the group version since if they can't get all of the members then they might be turned off from getting any as well as Taeyeon is a more popular member in SNSD so those who did get the member version are more likely to have gotten hers.

Either the condition of the album wasn't as good as mine. Or Seohyun's price has gone down... Because I remember it being at around $75...

Some members are rarer to get than others because I think there were more copies made of some members compared to others... Also IGAB was reissued for a short time a few years ago. But I can't remember if they only reissued certain members (This was when OT8 was still under SM)

I've seen the albums a few times in Shin Okubo though (Tokyo's Korea Town)

2nd gen albums are rly hard to get due to most of the groups being disbanded, members leaving the group or company, and lack of interest for reissues. Good luck👀

I am just lucky I got the IGAB Album with a member when it was released .

Random member versions are the worst when it comes to your bias groups. My only suggestion would be to email somewhere like kpoptown, and ask them if they have Sooyoung’s in their warehouse. If they do, then you could try ordering a random versiom, then emailing them straight after and ask for Sooyoung’s. That might be a long shot but worth a try anyway.
