Do you watch your threads? (1 Viewer)

I usually do. Since i'm not too active on here I won't notice if someone replies to a thread I made a few hours after i'm offline, and there's not a huge chance i'll check it the next day either. I like to like each reply to my threads even if it's something I disagree with or I don't have anything to reply to them with, just as a little thank you for not letting me flop too hard, and it's not like I get many other notifications anyway considering how I float around this site like a ghost.

I'll watch them for the first few hours or so to see if I get any replies. After that I usually quit checking.

I check maybe the first day of posting it but after that I usually won't check up on it, unless it's an artist thread.

I noticed if I watch a thread(not created by myself), if i don't click on the thread -i won't get any more notifs, I think. Also, some threads i jump to latest unread post n there's a jump to new option on some but not all threads. Just sth interesting I noticed.

Abt OP, if I get notif on my threads, I'll click but usually only reactions n not new posts happen , mostly on my threads, I'm resigned w/being a flop.

I noticed if I watch a thread(not created by myself), if i don't click on the thread -i won't get any more notifs

I'm pretty sure watching it only alerts you if there's a reply/replies you haven't seen so rather than alerting you for each one seperately, it'll just alert you once for the first unseen reply and then the rest of the replies after that will be seen after you check the initial alert anyway, so it doesn't need to send you another one. It's a nice feature so that you don't get bombarded with alerts if your thread suddenly gains traction while you're offline or something ~

My own threads don't seem to hv so many replies tat I notice if the same thing happens, (also I mostly click to see if I get replies on my threads since it's so rare/infrequent) LMAO.
Interesting ur thot about not getting bombarded, for the threads I watch it's mostly games to up post counts but I hvnt clicked in so long.

Edit:I mostly don't watch busy threads anyway, maybe subconsciously not wanting to be bombarded/overloaded w/notifs.

The summarise option is what made it difficult for me to adjust when I first came here aha. I've worked it out now so it's less confusing for me but I still don't care for it too much >.< I should go to the games page more often, I do need a few more posts under my sleeve but i'm also lazy af so we'll see how that goes

Same.. Although, I've noticed that most tend to like your thread if they are going to reply, so that's another way for me to check in.

I have it so threads I make are automatically watched but I usually just check the watched threads list as I have most of the notifications turned off (likes, replies to threads) although I do unwatch the tournament threads since I have the master thread for that.

I get notifs for them so yeah I like to check my threads if someone replies to it. I like when my threads spark a discussion, so I like to be there to argue my points or just reply in general.
