So, I was at my sister's house a couple weeks back. She had what was being passed off as Wasabi Peanuts. They were mildly spicy (about a 2 out of 5). Enough of a kick that you could feel it in your nose. Now I gave some of them to a person I knew that was there that I knew hated spicy things: I was like "Do you want some peanuts?"... She immediately spit it out. Was I wrong for doing that? I mean I thought it was funny; perhaps not. Your thoughts?

I personally would think it was funny and as long as they didn't have a negative health-threatening reaction to it, it is fine.
Technically, you are in the wrong for tricking someone but not in a major wrong... if that makes sense...

Was she angry continuously afterwards? If she laughed it off after being initially angry probably she accepted it as a joke but if the immediate reaction is to be angry and not subside for a couple of days then it was wrong to do it.

Just asking this question here means you either doubt you did the right thing, I think. If you hvnt already, maybe you shd apologize n promise not to trick that person again.
On the other hand, if that person already took it as a joke n brushed it off, I'd say you're ok. Just maybe think before you trick someone else again if you might regret it later. (This is just my opinion tho.)

You could save a lot of time and just say you pranked her. I'm on the side of the person that mentioned so long as she doesn't have any medical wrong you didn't do anything overly malicious. I've done this prank to, to people it's fun. If a person can't take a prank every now and again that's their problem not yours.

Honestly, she didn't really react much at all.. She was more upset when I put koolaid in her coffee...
