Overall activity on the forums seem to be declining.

It got a spike recently because of the Christmas games but a lot of threads are only averaging 5 replies.

And there is a long gap between posts if you look at recent posts.

DrewB (the troll version) is always on standby if you need me to bring activity to the forums. Just let me know and I'll save kpopsource.

I don't think it is dying. I can think of another kpop forum that is. Can't even visit that site without site issues. Nevermind all the low class trolls that roam around.

IT's just the Holidays. It'll probably pick up next year once life gets back to the normal pace.

Christmas time and there isn't much going on in Kpop, Red Velvet made their comeback with Psycho and well now there's no big comebacks confirmed so the only thing to really talk about is the Gayos being a disaster.

Rumor is CJ E&M will have a plan Monday/Tue. Evidently they have been burning the midnight oil to get it done before the new year.

Sucks RV did really well with psycho but, meteor is just too strong on melon heavy male numbers for both number 1 and 3. Thing has 700k ul on a Sunday for crying out loud.

Crazy thing is finale has 40k on hanto(30k day 1) yet ktown 4u has 26k sold I find it hard to believe that only 14 k sold on all other sites and in the stores.
that number is much bigger than all of day and day 2 combined.

Yet hanto sales are less than either. by alot.
Mondays number could be interesting.

Might be weird due to it having came out so close to Christmas so maybe overall it'll even out to be normal

I think like everyone said, it's holiday + exam season for most. Even our most active users are rarely here. There'll probably be more activity once everything settles down again.

I can't remember the reason why now, but physical albums don't sell on the weekends in general. Even EXO & BTS's albums barely sell as much over the weekend. So it makes sense that their sales have not been rising much over the weekend. They'll start rising again on Monday.
And Melon is a shame. But Meteor is just too strong. They managed to stay on top for really long time and are still #1 on other charts so I think that's amazing in itself. I hope they can maintain longevity even if they don't stay #1
