I'd probably use sir more, but neither is rly part of my vocabulary.. i usually use "guy" or "guys".

While "bruh" and "sir" may have the same denotation, the connotation of the two words are different by a significant amount. While "bruh" exempts a feeling of utter confusion and or disatisfaction, "sir" not only makes you feel like a fancy Englishmen from the 1600's, but also puts you in a higher position. "Bruh" is used by those of the lower societal class, those who are confused and lost. "Sir" is used by the higher class, those who are not confused by your actions, but rather disappointed. Disappointment is worse than both anger and confusion.

Preferably sir. I don't use bruh unless it's informal conversations with my friends.
I like to be formal where I can.
