I wouldn't consider staff a clique, they are like the student government but they have different friend groups.

Clique would imply sticking together while leaving others out. If anything, SIXNINE is more of a friend group than a clique in that regard since we don't really leave anyone out. Even in the anon thread itself, we still have five or six other people sticking around and asking questions so I don't really see how we're a clique

damn, i didn't mean clique negativity, it has a negative connotation. I really didn't mean clique, I got the idea from this thread about Discussion - Why are all forums like this? but friend group is better wording.

Sorry if it came across a bit too harsh or blunt, I know you didn't mean any ill will or anything. Just that the word itself has a negative connotation to it so I didn't want others to get the wrong idea about us

I'm not that aware of any, for me it's like that i have my friends and they have their friends, but for me it's not any particular group.

But I think some users have more tight friend groups, for example you sometimes see threads where they tag people and assign them roles

Still overall I think users just has some friends and their friends have some friends etc.

i dont think the buddy gang was clique, it was a collective, a friend group. but tir is right, i didn't mean it in an ill-witted way, but clique is negative.
