I really love ballads. It of course depends on the song, as it would for any other genre, but I feel that ballads end up having more meaning. A lot of my favorite songs I enjoy for how they make me feel, if that makes sense, so I am often drawn to ballads.

In the end though, I think it all depends on my mood whether I'll prefer slower ballads or more upbeat songs.

I like pop ballads. Some ballads can get boring throughout the song but I enjoy it sometimes.

I like ballads but I'm very picky about them as for me I have to be sold on it firstly being a good ballad but also on the singers voice so I usually gravitate around a few singers for my ballads like Bol4 and Taeyeon.

Yes she is.

And I'm a fan of hers. I'm not super familiar with her entire discography. More just a casual fan.

Even though I'm one of those fans that usually skips ballads I still recognize their importance and place in kpop. If I recall correctly ballads from soundtracks in the mid 2000s were more popular than any other style of music at the time.

IU is a legend. My favorite song from her though is still "Boo".

Yea I think Koreans love their ballads so practically every album incorporates at least one. It's their thing haha.

Almost all my favorite songs by my faves and even non faves are ballads. I learnt to appreciate them when I began to listen to Kpop. And I love checking a song lyrics so ballads are appropriate for me.

I also appreciate the vocal performances.

I'm kind of in between, I love a lot of ballads but I can also be quite picky with them as well. I guess for me they have to sound different from your ordinary kind of ballad or I just really need to love the vocalist(s) emotions as they're singing. If the song just relies on piano and the vocalist not doing too much with their voice then I usually get a little bored pretty quickly.

You posted my favorite ever song sung by Taeyeon, so I suppose I love ballads but I don't seek them out. Other than this I'm not sure wat other ballads I like. I don't really think abt whether a song I like is a ballad or other genre mostly until this kind of question comes up.

My personal favorite one would be songs from Zion.T that are more like rnb typ ballads.

In general I really love IU, Taeyeon‘s and Heize‘s ballads a lot.
